Responsibilities: developing and designing the front-end client with quality and readable code, adhering to best practices. To play a full part in the web application development process through the stages of conceptualisation, design, application build, test, release and maintenance. Maintaining existing code and writing unit tests to ensure the high quality of our web platform. Diagnose and fix critical bugs, identify bottlenecks, optimize and improve performance across our services. Write documentation for new and existing features. Coordinate and communicate with other team members to deliver products in accordance with business requirements. Stay in touch with tech trends – bring new ideas and inspiration to the table. Ideally, you will have: 2 - 5 years of experience as a Frontend Developer Excellent communication skills. Able to communicate ideas clearly. Experience working with VCS – GitHub. Strong understanding of web application architecture. Strong understanding and grasp of UX/UI, accessibility and design principles. Strong understanding of database design and performance. Writing database queries, creating data models, optimising database performance etc. Proficiency of Modern Javascript (ES6-8)/HTML/CSS. Proficiency in React and StyledComponents - hooks, states, component lifecycle. Knowledge of npm. A solid grasp of software engineering best practices, code modularity, and reusability. Experience working in an Agile team -Kanban and/or Scrum
