TheHIVE partners an SME delivering eLearning solutions with a music management company
Martin runs an SME that delivers eLearning solutions to universities and education centres in the UK.

He has a team of 5 software developers based in Buckinghamshire. A recent drop in work load meant that two of his team members had very little projects in their pipeline. With their running overhead wages, such spare capacity was not good for the books. He was facing the reality of having to cut their hours, or even worse lay them off if he doesn't drive more business soon. That was until he reached out to us.
Clara is in the music industry and is based in London.

Her portal promotes and distributes artists' work in return for a premium. She needed to upgrade her in-house developed software tools with new features and was after recruiting software developers for 2 months on Full-Time basis. She normally hires contractors but has been looking for new ways of finding more affordable yet just as flexible and reliable talent.
What Clara was after matched the skills that Martin's team had.

We linked Martin and Clara through our portal to discuss how Martin's team can support her project requirements, remotely. A B2B contract was signed to have both members of Martin's team made available 4 days a week for 3 months, mostly on remote basis. They became part of Clara's extended team.
This gave Clara the peace of mind.

She had the resources she needed through a secure and reliable B2B Services Agreement with Martin's company. Her project effectively paid for their wages while they work with her. This allowed Martin to delay any lay-off decisions for at least 3 months in hope business improves on his side.
As Clara's project came to an end,

Martin's business was picking up again and his team members were stepping back into normal workflow with plenty of projects to take on. In fact, Martin hired through TheHIVE an excellent sales rep facing redundancy and she in turn managed to get him 2 sizeable projects within a month while helping her parent company save her job!
Clara managed to upgrade her platform on time, while saving 28% on the recruitment and project costs. Martin, on the other hand, retained his two loyal and valued team members and knows that he can come back to TheHIVE should he need us again.

And all 3 employees still have their jobs.
